All classes are kept to a small size with a maximum of 4 dogs per group and 1:1's will be tailored to meet your dog's needs. You will be provided with a starter scent pack, homework activities and ongoing support to help your dog succeed.
Beginners

Our 4 week Beginners Course is designed to introduce your dog to the foundations of scentwork. During the 90 min group sessions or 60 min 1:1 sessions, we will introduce your dog to the scent of red Kong with a big emphasis on motivation and reward. Your dog will begin to form a positive association with the scent, building up a strong scent recognition. Your dog will also learn a systematic approach to searching by using different equipment, surfaces and environments. You will learn to recognise the dog's body language for when they have found the odour with the emphasis at this stage on active indications. We focus on positive reinforcement techniques to create a fun and rewarding learning environment, making sure every session is engaging and beneficial.

Our 1:1 progression training sessions are specifically designed for dogs who have successfully completed the Introduction to Scentwork course. In these personalised sessions, we will introduce an exciting new odour, develop more complex search patterns, and build your dog's resilience. Together, we will work on strengthening their indication, safely adding in distractions, and exploring fresh search environments while refining your handler techniques. Elevate your team's skills in our Scentwork Small Group Workshops, limited to a maximum of 4 dogs to ensure personalized coaching. These immersive 2-hour sessions are exclusively for dogs who have completed the Introduction to Scentwork course and at least 6 Progression Sessions. Each workshop focuses on an advanced theme to challenge and inspire you both, including inaccessible hides, people searches, play and search development, active searches, and operational-style searches..

Put your teamwork to the test in our Scentwork Trials, a fantastic chance to compete against other teams in a friendly, supportive environment. To keep the atmosphere relaxed and focused, spaces are limited to a maximum of 6 teams at a cost of £45 per team. Your dog will tackle 3 diverse search areas, including line-ups, area searches, and vehicles. Rosettes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to the teams with the most finds in the quickest time, and all participating teams will receive a certificate to celebrate their achievement.
